Ryan and Hailey Turn Seven!!!!

This update really does not seem possible, because right now as Hailey and Ryan wake up and head off to school this morning they head out the door another year older. That is right, Ryan and Hailey are celebrating their Seventh Birthday. I really don't know how this happened...did I blink and time just quickly moved forward!??!. Whatever the case is, there is no denying the fact that Ryan and Hailey are infact seven years old. We wish you the most amazing day today Ryan and Hailey and hope you both do something fun and special to celebrate your day!

I am also going to include this in the birthday update since in two more days the site celebrates Six Years Online. Even that doesn't seem possible! So much has happened and I only hope that amazing things happen this year for the Kent family. Be sure to visit the Guestbook and leave Ryan and Hailey a birthday message.

Support Hailey's Treatment Fund

A sweet friend & family member of the Kent family has started a Support Hailey's Treatment Fund. For the next 31 days we are asking anyone who sees this to get the word out and help in anyway that you can. Even a dollar can go a long way. As most of you know, hospital expenses are insane over in America and all the Kents are trying to do is help get Hailey well. There are hundreds of sick kids who never asked to be sick, and they get through everything with a smile on their faces, the parents are the ones who stress out because they are trying to do everything for their children, but get stopped because they can't pay the bill, they even get bills before all the test results come back.

Once again, most of you who know Hailey and know her story I am sure would love to help. Please do what you can and pass it around to everyone you know. We are kindly asking for your help

Happy Easter and Thoughts for Hailey

We are wishing everyone a Happy Easter and sharing this picture of Ryan and Hailey took with the Bunny himself. We are also asking everyone who visits this website to find a moment in your day to think of the Kent Family today as Hailey is spending her Easter in the hospital. She hasn't been keeping down anything, the thoughts were maybe it was the flu, but it has turned out to be norovirus. Her kidney's have also been affected. With Hailey's immune system it makes her body harder to fight this. We all know our little Hailey is a strong fighter, so we are asking that you all keep her and her family in your thoughts and hope that Hailey will be back home running around and acting like her silly, loving self.


It has been a long day at the hospital for the Kent family and the last few days with Hailey being sick have been long as well. With the IV, Hailey was finally able to keep some food down. She even said she was hungry, those were like magic words to everyone's ears. She was able to keep down some french fries and chicken nuggets. I have added a picture of our smiling girl with her Easter Basket.

We want to thank the staff at the Simi Valley Hospital along with CHLA. They both surprised Hailey with her very own Easter Basket. Thanks for taking the best care of our spirited little girl. Stay strong Hailey and keep smiling.
